Thom O’Connor Marketing Communications, Inc. resigned the Landis Arboretum account in August, wherein principal Thom O’Connor served as executive director of Landis for the past three years, and worked to heighten the national profile of the Esperance-based public garden of trees, plants, and shrubs and its education programs.
“When I received an invitation to join the excellent marketing team at Proctors, I was elated,” said Mr. O’Connor.

The upcoming season at Proctors will present the largest Broadway Series to date. According to readMedia’s (www.readmedia.com) president Colin Mathews, “We are all going to miss seeing Thom’s awesome press releases about the Arboretum on our wire. We consider him one of our ‘elite’ users, someone who uses readMedia — and press releases in general — in innovative, engaging ways. We wish him well at Proctors.”
“Despite my natural resistance to change,” said Mr. O’Connor, “it is time to explore new horizons. It is never too late to pursue one’s dreams and achieve excellence. It is a lesson I learned late in life – and one I hope never to forget – and to perfect with practice.”
